Welcome to Bite AI. Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") carefully before using the Bite AI mobile application or services operated by Bite AI ("we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

Bite AI is strictly for general informational, educational, and nutritional tracking purposes only. The software, AI meal calculations, and calorie estimates do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified physician or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet or fitness routine.
1. Account Registration & Security
To use certain features of Bite AI, you may be required to register for an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email authentication.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must notify us immediately of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
2. Use of AI & Calorie Estimates
Bite AI uses advanced machine learning models to analyze food images and text descriptions. While we strive for maximum accuracy, AI nutrition estimates (calories, macros, micronutrients, portion sizes) are approximations and may vary based on ingredients, preparation, and portion scale.
3. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases
Bite AI may offer free features as well as premium subscription plans ("Bite AI Premium"):
- Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis via your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your App Store / Play Store account settings.
- Refunds: Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective Store refund policies.
4. User Content & Prohibited Conduct
You retain ownership of any images, meal logs, or feedback you submit. However, you grant Bite AI a non-exclusive license to process your content solely for providing the service.
You agree NOT to:
- Upload illegal, abusive, offensive, or harmful material.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the AI software or mobile application binaries.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to extract data from our APIs or app infrastructure.
5. Intellectual Property
The Bite AI name, logo, original interface design, graphics, algorithms, and brand assets are the exclusive property of Bite AI and its licensors. All rights reserved.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bite AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the service or any dietary outcomes derived therefrom.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Bite AI at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business interests.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
